Jessica Newton, PHR is an up-and-coming HR professional, who diligently pursues opportunities to grow as a strategist and leader. She currently works as the Reporting Specialist for the Human Resources/Payroll Shared Services department at Johns Hopkins University, which houses and maintains HR data and performs payroll services for both Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins University’s 25,000+ employees. In her position, she provides audit support, quality assurance reviews and quality control monitoring.
Jessica earned her certification in Human Resources in December 2012. She earned her Bachelors of Arts degree from Hood College in Frederick, MD. Jessica prides herself in being a lifelong learner who actively seeks knowledge opportunities every moment of every day.
Jessica volunteers as the Christian Education Coordinator at Urban Bible Fellowship Church located in Baltimore, MD. She has held that role since 2001. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys helping others with resume writing, interview preparation and job coaching.
